Until recently there were separate East of Scotland and West of Scotland Branches of the TCD Association.

Since the demise of the West of Scotland Branch, we now send our mailings to alumni based throughout Scotland, though to keep down postal costs we have ceased to mail everyone in the database.  Instead we mail only those who have indicated to us that they wish to remain in touch.  If any alumnus or alumna resident in Scotland is reading this and hasn't received one of our mailings, then please contact the Hon. Secretary to get put on our mailing list.  Membership of the Branch is free, mailing expenses being built into the costs we charge for dinners etc.  We maintain our own database of Scottish based alumni (and a few from the north of England who have requested addition), and although we exchange information with the central register of alumni at Trinity, it is never fully up to date.

We organize several social events each year - a lunch party in November which doubles as our Annual General Meeting, a summer outing to somewhere of interest and, in odd numbered years, a Trinity Dinner on the Saturday nearest St. Patrick's Day.
